Payment instruments in the new digital economy

The global pandemic of 2020 has forced companies, including SMEs of all types of industry or markets to turn to a digital transformation.  Even in preventive isolation, companies must stock up with supplies and contract services to operate. In the same way, supplier companies must be able to collect their sales.

For various reasons, a large number of companies have not yet managed to implement electronic payment systems to charge their customers. It Is either due to lack of knowledge about the tools or instruments available for collection by bank transfer or debit or credit cards or because of the increase of costs it represents.

Cost of charging with cards

There are more and more collection tools through credit or debit cards. The different options may or may not have fixed costs, they may even have different transaction cost.

What entrepreneurs value the most when offering this type of payment instruments to sell their products or services is the time they have to wait to make funds available through this method.

CAME Pagos proposal

In March 2020, CAME (Argentina Confederation of Medium-size Enterprises) launched its electronic payment service under the name of “CAME Pagos”, a tool to collect payments for products and services sale with both the lowest transaction costs on the market and no fixed or hidden costs.

The costs of CAME Pagos are lower than other electronic payment services available on the market.

ut what is even more interesting is that the amounts, collected with the main credit and debt cards, are released in half the time than with other tools. CAME  Pagos even offers an express service by which 24 hours after collection, the funds are available at added cost. And yet, it does not reach the cost per transaction of other systems.

Implementation of products and services’ sale with cards

It is important that the buyer could pay with their cards and register their received payments easily, particularly in the case of SMEs companies that usually have small administrative structures.

CAME offers a training agenda to companies so that they can go through the digital transformation and adapt themselves to current times successfully.

Creation of an account to operate in CAME Pagos

Legal persons simply have to complete a form with the company’s tax data and the data of its legal representative, an e-mail address and an access password.

Human persons, monotributistas, self-employed workers or any other person who wants to use CAME Pagos as a virtual wallet, will be able to register by filling in  a simple form, very similar to that of the legal persons.

Payment-collection means with CAME Pagos

Customers can use the Application for Android smartphones of Apple IOS and pay for their purchases by simply reading a QR code or else sending money from an account or virtual wallet of CAME Pagos. Either the merchant or seller can also use the mPOS device in their cell phone, which is being distributed free of charge as a promotion.

Access to funds collection through CAME Pagos

Once the collection is made using CAME services, the amounts are credited to a virtual or digital wallet.

Money can either be withdrawn by means of a bank transfer to an account of the company or person or can be used with a prepaid card with a Visa flag in shops or else can be extracted through an electronic teller machine. Recently, it has been added the possibility of using the funds of CAME Pagos’ account to pay utility bills and taxes or else make payments to another company that has a virtual wallet of CAME Pagos.
