Expansion and Adaptation to Changing Market Demands
In response to growing international demand, TB Cargo expanded its services and adjusted its operations to meet changing market demands. Throughout its history, notable milestones include establishing a subsidiary in Bolivia in 1992, creating Oilfield Trucks in 1997, forming a subsidiary in Paraguay in 2003, acquiring a petroleum base in Vaca Muerta in 2012, establishing subsidiaries in Brazil, Uruguay, and Peru between 2016 and 2020, and commencing operations of importing and marketing petroleum-grade barite.
Commitment to Innovation and Focus on Lithium
In 2022, TB Cargo reaffirmed its commitment to innovation by introducing TBC01, a drilling rig designed to meet the needs of the lithium industry. This innovative equipment, combined with expert professionals, ensured project objectives with high standards of efficiency and productivity, reducing drilling times by 70%.
International Projection and New Identity
With strategically located subsidiaries in Latin America and Spain, TB Cargo envisions its future through its three Business Units:
- Cargo
- Land Transport: National and international transport solutions for general cargo throughout the region, connecting Latin America.
- Project Cargo: Transport solutions for overweight and/or oversized cargo nationally and internationally in the countries where it operates.
- International Cargo Agency: «Boutique» maritime agency solutions for clients and agents with special technical requirements.
- Warehousing: Warehouses in all countries of operation, providing cross-docking, cargo consolidation, etc.
- Energy
- Oils & Gas: Drilling inputs, chemicals, and other consumables for the oil and gas industry. Bulk services, transport, and dosing of well inputs.
- Mining: Drilling services for the lithium industry, operating in salt flats with specially adapted drills, improving drilling times, reducing costs, and increasing efficiencies.
- Contract
- Trading: Value chain integration solutions tailored to clients’ requests (mineral extraction, COMEX solutions, buying/selling commodities, importation of inputs on behalf of end clients, etc.).
- 3PL: Comprehensive logistics management services, including import and export management, multimodal transport, storage, inventory management (SAP), demand planning, etc.
