The company showcased products and services designed to operate under demanding and rigorous conditions, such as those encountered in the oil and gas industry.

XT Trucks: Ready for the Toughest Terrain

One of the highlights of Scania’s presentation was its XT line of trucks, designed to tackle off-road conditions. These trucks offer features like increased ground clearance and configurable traction, making them ideal tools for the oil and gas industry.

Comprehensive Service and Technical Support

Scania doesn’t just offer cutting-edge vehicles; they also provide comprehensive technical support services. This includes the option to set up workshops at customer facilities, known as Scania Service Centers (CWS). These centers feature technicians trained by Scania, genuine spare parts, and appropriate tools, reducing maintenance costs and minimizing vehicle downtime.

Engines: Power and Sustainability

Scania introduced two standout engines at the exhibition: the E16, an eight-cylinder V engine that can run on natural gas or biogas, and a 13-liter industrial engine with 450 hp of power. These engines are essential for power generation and various applications in the oil and gas industry.

Tucumán Factory: Exporting Quality

Scania also highlighted its factory in Tucumán, Argentina, where high-quality transmission components are produced. The factory exports 100% of its production to Scania facilities in Brazil and Sweden, contributing to the company’s global success and maintaining high-quality standards.
